A small guide to how you change from DHCP to static.

sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces

# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.X
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
gateway 192.168.0.X
dns-nameservers 192.168.0.X

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
And that will get you fixed up.

Or Reboot the server

Connect to the new ipnr
